Naturisimo Detox Starter Kit Review

What it contains/How to Use:

Step 1: Evolve Gentle Cleansing Melt, 30ml: 

Feel the sensation of makeup and impurities melting away with this nourishing cleanser with baobab oil and vanilla

Ingredients:

Caprylic /Capric Triglyceride*, Glycerin*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Oil*, Sucrose Laurate, Adansonia Digitata (Baobab) Seed Oil*, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Water*, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla) Fruit Extract*, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil*, Tocopherol.

* Ingredients from organic farming.

Lets start with the consistency of this cleanser… I would describe it as a clear lightweight, soft, silky smooth, gel-balm. It also has a lovely citrusy and sweet vanilla scent.

How to Use
Gently massage Evolve Gentle Cleansing Melt onto dry face, including the eye area. Apply warm water to transform into a rich creamy milk. Rinse away.

It is wonderfully soft and silky. I massage it in for 1-2 minutes and it literally melts on the skin. I then apply warm water and it emulsifies into a creamy milk.

It rinses off easily and leaves my skin clean, soft and hydrated. I’m impressed with the results and will be purchasing the full size.

Step 2: Susanne Kaufmann Enzyme Peel, 15ml: 

To ensure a thoroughly clean slate, use this non-irritating enzyme peel to deeply exfoliate skin while recapturing lost radiance. 

Ingredients:

aqua (water), alcohol denat., pentylene glycol, glycerin, polyglyceryl-4 caprate, carbomer, alcohol, saccharide isomerate, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) leaf water, pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract, carica papaya (papaya) leaf extract, actinidia, ectoin, deliciosa (kiwi) fruit extract, trigonella foenum-graecum seed extract, maltodextrin, menthol, chlorella vulgaris/lupinus albus protein ferment, aloe barbadensis leaf powder, pectin, cucumis melo (melon) fruit extract, terpineol, sodium hydroxide, levulinic acid, sodium levulinate, bisabolol, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, citric acid, sodium citrate.

This enzyme peel has a strong menthol scent. I was rather disappointed to see ‘alcohol denat’ as the second ingredient in the list. For me its a major no-no as it has been a problematic ingredient that caused my skin to react.

So sadly I won’t be trying this out.

Step 3: 100% Pure Bright Eyes Masks, x1 pair:

Now for a little spa-like treat. Give under eyes a super dose of hydration and energy to de-puff and renew.

Ingredients:

Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe Juice)*, Camellia Sinensis (Organic Matcha Green Tea)*, Organic Green Coffee*, Ilex Paraguariensis (Organic Yerba Mate) Tea*, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Hydrosol, Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Caffeine, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic) Acid, Plant Cellulose.

While I don’t have any bags or puffiness under my eyes, I found these eye masks hydrating, refreshing and soothing.

The antioxidant gel is a smooth gel with a lovely citrus scent while the antioxidant serum is an oil. I combine the gel and serum and apply to damp skin after cleansing. I use this as my night cream. My skin is hydrated, soft, moisturised with a nice glow.

Step 5: Antipodes Manuka Honey Day Cream, 15ml: 

Packed with antioxidants, this skin-brightening day cream targets redness, blemishes and pigmentation for the perfect finishing touch to your detoxified complexion.

Ingredients:

This cream has a light and creamy consistency and smells sweet like honey. It spreads very easily on the skin and sinks right in without leaving any greasy residue.

My skin feels velvety soft, smooth and matte which makes it the ideal base for makeup. I absolutely love how my skin feels using this and highly recommend it.
