LoveLula Beauty Box August 2016

August is always a pretty exciting month for me…my birthday month! I can’t believe I’ll be 41 in 8 days!!!!

My LoveLula Beauty Box of goodies arrived a few days ago and put a big smile on my face.

Feast your eyes on these lovely goodies….not bad for £12.50

I was especially excited as these products are all new discoveries for me.

So I’ve been trying them out and today I’ll be sharing my first impressions with you all.

• Humble Natural Beauty Rose & Frankincense Body Wash 200ml / £8

  

The HUMBLE range of bath and beauty products are the brain child of Kate Humble the presenter, author, environmentalist and farmer.The very essence of the products had to be like its name – humble.

This body wash has a subtle floral fragrance blending top notes of fresh rose petals on a heart of lavender, and a base of Amber, Frankincense and Musk.

I’m very particular about body washes as my skin is dry.  I really love this body wash, it feels really indulgent and smells amazing.  It lathers well and leaves my skin soft and not stripped.  I’m looking forward to trying other products from her range.

• UrbanVeda Reviving Facial Treat Size Set / £10

Reviving Daily Facial Wash (20ml):

This is my favourite collection from UrbanVeda.  My skin just responded better with these products than others I’ve tried.  All the products have a lovely rose scent.

• The cleanser leaves my skin clean and balanced.
• The exfoliating facial polish is nice and creamy and the micro particles gently buff the skin leaving it soft and smooth.
• The reviving day cream feels nice and light and leaves my skin hydrated.

• Dr. Hauschka Night Serum 25ml / £39

This serum feels quite sticky when applying.  However it soaks into the skin well and once it dries it doesn’t feel sticky at all. It has a lovely scent which is great.

I applied this at night and the next morning my skin felt refreshed and hydrated.  I think you will see a noticeable difference in your complexion over time.

• Madara Time Miracle Cellular Repair Serum 30ml / £40

I love this serum.  It glides on nicely on the skin and absorbs easily.  It has a lovely uplifting scent as well.  

I love a good serum and this one is perfect before applying my moisturiser.  

My skin appears smoother and softer so this is definitely one to add to my skincare regimen.
