LoveLula Beauty Box May 2017

I’m always excited to see what lovely goodies I’ll receive in my LoveLula Beauty Box.   Honestly you always get exceptional value for money and this month did not disappoint at all.  There’s a lovely mix of facial and hair products worth £45.  As always you also get an exclusive beauty box offer –  20% off the brands in the box (valid until 31st May 2017).

Laidbare DIY! Two In One Cleanser & Toner  (125ml, £6.99)

A no nonsense cleanser & toner in one that even removes your eye make-up!

With Liquorice and Aloe Vera for exceptional anti-bacterial properties that reduce inflammation, tone and strengthen the skin. Apple Secrets Extract helps protect your skin cells and Brazil Nut Extract is a valuable antioxidant working hard to condition, nourish and repair.

I had just run out of my favourite face cleanser as my hubby usually hijacks them.  He thinks I should share! C’mon I’m the most sharing, caring person but not when it comes to my skincare! Not surprising, there goes another cleanser, he used this one before I even got my hands on it.  Men eh!

I love how affordable and effective Laidbare products are.  This cleanser has a gel consistency and refreshing citrus scent.  I like to use it with my sonic facial brush for a thoroughly deep cleanse.  It feels gentle on my skin but still effective.  After rinsing my skin feels clean and refreshed without feeling stripped or dry.

PHB Ethical Beauty Gentle Moisturiser with Shea Butter & Apricot (50ml, £16.95)

PHB’s Gentle Moisturiser is made with a hypoallergenic formula that is perfect for soothing and nourishing sensitive skin.

With a pure formula of Shea & Apricot to leave skin silky smooth, strengthened & protected. Relieves redness and irritation. Rich in antioxidants and fatty acids to protect and replenish skin and prevent signs of aging.

Perfect for very sensitive skin, eczema & rosacea.

Always free from parabens, synthetic fragrance, irritants & harmful chemicals

This moisturiser is packed full of nourishing ingredients.  It is great for sensitive skin and eczema.  The texture is silky, almost gel like and absorbs well.  My skin feels soft, smooth and supple.

John Masters Organics Lavender Rosemary Shampoo for Normal Hair (30ml)

Lavender and rosemary extracts are combined with 13 other certified organic ingredients plus soy protein to leave hair healthy, shiny and manageable. Does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate. Safe for color-treated hair.

I’m a huge fan of John Masters Organics and I’ve used this shampoo before.  It is a lovely gentle shampoo that doesn’t leave my hair stripped and a tangled mess.

John Masters Organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler (30ml)

Whether rinsed out or used as a leave-in conditioner, this lightweight formula detangles and conditions with a highly-effective combination of 17 certified-organic ingredients.

Natural soy proteins and borage oil replenish lipid content. Wheat amino acids & soy proteins restore strength and shine, while essential oils of grapefruit, lemon and neroli provide an uplifting aroma. Safe for color-treated hair.

Another favourite from John Masters Organics.  It is a very effective detangler ~ it literally melts away any tangles or knots in my hair and also doubles as a leave-in conditioner.  It is very light and doesn’t weigh down my hair but leaves it soft, shiny and moisturised.

Ogario London Styling Mist for Natural Hold and Volume (60ml, £16)

Boost volume and control as you style with this light mist, containing lemon zest and oats to infuse hair with shine and strength for a full, glossy finish.

Suitable for all hair types, the Ogario London Styling Mist for Natural Hold and Volume contains innovative complex MICROKERA™, which utilises microcapsules of keratin and argan oil to target damaged hair and seal split ends.

I love Ogario’s shampoo and conditioner and their hair mask is my favourite.  Ok so my hair definitely doesn’t need any extra volume or hold.  It is super thick and kinky.  I typically don’t blow dry my hair, mainly leave it in twists and air dry.  So although I used it once, it didn’t suit my hair so I’ll be passing it on to a friend.

What do you think of this month’s box?

Note – There will be slight price increase starting in June. Monthly UK subscriptions will now be £13.95. You still get exceptional value for money so totally worth it!
