It’s been such a busy month but hey we’ve had some beautiful weather so far. It’s time to share June’s LoveLula Beauty Box.

John Masters Organics Lavender, Rose Geranium & Ylang Ylang Soap 42g, £3
Enriched with organic olive and cupuacu seed butter, this highly-moisturizing soap is great for both face and body. A heavenly combination of lavender, rose geranium and ylang ylang essential oils are blended with organic palm and coconut oils to create the perfect beauty bar. Infused with organic glycerin, your skin is left soft and luminous.
I’m not much of a soap bar fan as they tend to dry out my skin. However I’ve slowly come to realise not all soap bars are quite the same. First of all this one smells amazing, it contains some of my fave essential oils. It lathers well and on the plus side it doesn’t dry my skin out so major thumbs up!
Balm Balm Hibiscus Face Mask (Full size 40g, £9.50)
This wonderfully gentle yet effective combination of brown rice flour, ground hibiscus and rose geranium essential oil makes the perfect Exfoliating Face Mask to deep cleanse your skin. Just add water to this fragrant powder to create an absorbent paste which gently draws out impurities from the skin as it dries.
Ingredients:
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Powder, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Powder, Pelagonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium oil)
Directions:
Add a little warm water to approximately one tablespoon of Hibiscus Face Mask and mix to a paste. Apply to face and leave for 10 mins or until dry. Before removing the mask, dampen a little and gently massage into the skin to exfoliate then wash off completely.
As I’ve mentioned before, powder face masks are my faves. This is my first time using this one from Balm Balm and I have to say it’s an absolute treat.
First of all it’s 100% organic and made with 3 simple ingredients. It is easy to mix, be careful not to add to much water as it will be very runny and then you’d have to add more powder to get the right consistency!
When mixed with water it turns to a lilac paste which is pretty cool, plus it smells good too. You can also try mixing with a floral water if you prefer.
I have enjoyed using this mask and I saw immediate results after the first use. It is really gentle but deep cleanses and exfoliates my skin and leaves it soft, smooth and brighter.
This little pot is now my best friend and I have already purchased a full size as it’s a very effective and affordable mask. It will now be a staple in my beauty routine.
Balm Balm Organic Muslin Face Cloth (Pack of 3, £8.50)
Muslin cloths play a big part in my daily cleansing routine. They are perfect for cleansing and gently exfoliating. I prefer them to cotton face cloths as they dry much quicker.
Madara Daily Defence Ultra Rich Balm 60ml , £15
This all-over-body cream helps to rescue skin dryness and roughness, protects skin from raw winds and cold. Vitamin-rich Northern cloudberry and sea buckhtorn oils soothe, hydrate and restore skin barrier providing softness. Helps to cure chapped lips and cracked heals, softens nail cuticles, and can be even used as a soothing cream for the little ones.Gives comfort to your skin in winter as well as summer weather.
Ingredients:
This is a lovely creamy balm which isn’t heavy or greasy. I haven’t used it on my face yet (would be great in the winter). I’ve mostly used it on my hands and feet and it is very moisturising. It absorbs easily, soothes my skin and leaves it soft and moisturised.
Bellapierre Kiss Proof Lip Crème Shade: Antique Pink 3.8g , £20
Bellapierre Kiss Proof Lip Crèmes are full coverage, high impact liquid lipsticks that last for hours without the need to touchup. Their creamy formula goes on smoothly and dries to a beautiful matte finish in a snap!
Ingredients:
This was my least favourite item in the box. First of all, I wasn’t impressed with the ingredients at all and the colour didn’t quite suit my skin tone. I did apply it to my lips and it does dry quickly and leaves a matt finish. However I just found it way too drying on my lips and it didn’t look very flattering.
