It’s now hat season for me…summer is over and the cold weather is upon us. Hats are a must for me in the winter to keep warm, however the fabric can absorb the moisture in your hair, leaving it dry and frizzy.
I like wearing beanies but the fabric rubs on my hair and constantly snags on my hair which is annoying. At the end of the day, my hair would be extremely dry, frizzy and breaking. I would have to cover my hair with a silk scarf before putting on a hat which isn’t ideal.
Over the summer I was contacted by Zainab from Skatsz hats. We had a lovely chat over Skype and she sent me one of their hats to try out.
Skatsz Hats is a US based company who create stylish and affordable satin lined beanies. It was created by sisters Zainab and Kozy and was birth out of the desperate need to rock trendy beanies without the horrors of dry frizzy hair.
Their mission is to be the number 1 affordable satin lined hats company in the US and beyond.
They currently have 4 colours available – Teal, Red, Navy blue and Grey and one size fits all.
I’m currently rocking the navy blue colour. Unisex Knitted Satin Lined Slouch Beanie Navy/Pink | $19.99
I’m really enjoying wearing this beanie, it is very comfortable and stylish too. It helps keep the moisture in my hair and my hair style intact.
You can wear it however you want. Here are some ways I wear mine…
So whatever hair type or texture you have, wearing a satin-lined hat will prevent dryness, excess frizz and help your style last longer.
I know Skatsz hats ship to the UK, if you are in another country you can email them – Askus@skatsz.com to get the shipping cost and confirm if they can ship to you.
