Its anti-ageing property tightens and shrinks pores by toning the skin, and evening skin tone.
Powdered Turmeric Root: Turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent that helps to reduce redness and rawness from acne, blemishes and even rosacea and pigmentation. Antibacterial properties effectively clean the skin making it an extremely helpful skincare ritual during breakouts. Antioxidants safeguard against skin damaging free radicals. Also a powerful humectant, Turmeric soothes dry skin, locks in moisture and promotes suppleness.
Ingredients: Cocos nucifera (Coconut) milk powder + Pterocarpus santalinus (Red Sandalwood) wood powder + Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) root powder.
You can mix with water, honey or floral water. I mix a drop of water at a time until I get the right consistency, you don’t want to make it too runny or it’ll just drip everywhere and not stick to your face.
It smells so yummy and reminds me of turmeric tea (golden milk).
I let it sit on my face for 15 minutes then wet my fingertips and gently massage, then I rinse with warm water.
I’ve used turmeric face masks before and they can be hard to remove and leave my skin a yellow orange colour, plus if it gets on your clothes or floor, it will leave a stain.
It was easy to remove this face mask and after rinsing my face I didn’t look bright yellow as you can see above. I did however use a toner to remove any traces of the mask. I finish by massaging a few drops of Immortelle Scar + Blemish Oil.
Now with regular use this face mask has literally transformed my skin. Even after the first use my skin looked brighter and smoother. I have hyperpigmentation and acne scarring and I’m always looking for ways to regain a natural even tone.
This stuff is amazing and is hands down the best face mask I’ve used. I use it once a week and my skin is gradually looking more even, smoother and brighter.
Isla Apothecary Immortelle Scar + Blemish Oil 30ml | £30

My skin scars very easily and even if I don’t pick at pimples, they tend to still leave acne spots. This face oil really helps to address these issues and heal my skin.
I use it every night on cleansed skin, it feels light, absorbs well and has a lovely aromatic scent. I’ve now finished the bottle and I found in combination with the Refine + Radiate face mask, my skin has drastically improved.
I have enjoyed using these products and highly recommend them.
