You can read about February’s box Curlee Box February – Flora & Curl Exclusive.

This month features products from EDEN Bodyworks and the contents are worth over £50 so I’m loving the value for money.

EDEN BodyWorks was the brainchild of Jasmine Lawrence when she was just a child herself. At 11 years old, Jasmine faced her first beauty challenge. Her hair was badly damaged and she was searching for natural products to nurture and restore her hair back to health. With no solution in sight, Jasmine took to her kitchen and concocted her own remedy. And there, the EDEN BodyWorks story begins.

EDEN BodyWorks™ provides natural products that integrate wellness and beauty inspired by nature to restore and maintain the hair and body’s original design.

I haven’t tried any products from the brand but I’ve heard good things, so I was keen to try them out myself.

Pour generous amount of EDEN BodyWorks Coconut Shea Moisture Shampoo into your hand and massage onto both hair and scalp. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat as needed

I didn’t like this shampoo, it made my hair dry and straw like.  I wouldn’t say it was moisturising at all.

I’ve tried other shampoos that did the job and were moisturising.

This was my least favourite product in the box!

Use this nourishing, creamy conditioner to restore moisture to dry, thirsty strands. Packed with moisturizing agents like coconut oil and shea butter, the Creamy Conditioner replenishes and strengthens hair against breakage.

Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Glycerin, Glyceryl Dilaurate, Ceteareth-20, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Citric Acid, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetrimonium Chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol

Apply to clean, wet hair with additional emphasis on the ends of the hair. Leave on hair for 10 minutes. Rinse well.

This conditioner has a nice rich and creamy consistency.  It also smells tropical making it a joy to use.  Once I applied to my hair I was able to finger detangle easily.

I left it in for 15 mins and after rinsing my hair felt super soft, moisturised and shiny.

I’m really impressed with the results.

Smooth onto skin and/or down hair shaft. Style hair as desired.

This product is from their new Citrus Fusion collection and has a refreshing Orange and Lime scent.

It doubles up as a hair and body butter and I have to say it’s a fabulous product.  The consistency is smooth, creamy and melts like butter in my hair and skin.  On my hair it keeps my hair moisturised for days, my curls are defined and frizz free.

I also love it as a body butter, it feel so luscious on the skin leaving it moisturised without feeling greasy.

Mold and set hair with this lightweight foam. Perfect for wavy + curly textures and roller sets. Soft hold, Nourishing, Adds Shine, Volumizing, Nourish & Set

Water (Aqua), Polysorbate-20, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Honey, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Hydrolyzed Quinoa, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Polyglyceryl-10 Diisostearate, Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid

Apply to wet hair and set or style as desired.

I typically don’t use mousse regularly as I rarely roller set my hair.  Now typically mousse comes out like a foam so I was really surprised how watery this one was.  It just come out like bubbles and dripped everywhere.  I shook it vigorously again and again but it still didn’t foam.  I’ve read other reviews with the same experience.

Anyway I proceeded to use it to style my hair with the hair + body butter and it worked well.

Next time I attempt a roller set I’ll give it a go.

Provides a firm, manageable hold along the hairline and/or hair shaft to preserve desired styles. This lightweight formula will not create build up.

Water (Aqua), Ceteareth-20, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, PEG-50 Shea Butter, Propanediol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Milk, Fragrance (Parfum), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid

Use Control Glaze Edge Gel to lay down edges along the hairline and to preserve curly textured styles.

I’ve tried a few edge control gels and my pet peeve is white residue and build up! I have to say this one is the best I’ve tried.  I can smooth my hair and lay down my edges effortlessly and best of all I don’t experience any flaking, white residue or build up.  It also doesn’t feel greasy and washes out easily.  The scent is yummy tropical coconut just like the rest of the products.

I created this hairstyle (flat twist perm rod set) using the Hair + Body Butter plus the Styling mousse as my styler

I used the Control Edge gel to smooth my hair in the front and my edges

My curls are super defined and poppin’.  I’m happy with the results!

There is also a chance to purchase this box as a ‘one off’ for £25
