One of my favourite ways to moisturise my skin is using a body oil. They penetrate and absorb easily. Now that it’s summer I’ve swapped my body butters for body oils instead.
I have much love for Esse Probiotic Skincare and I’ve been trying out their body oil.

I love a good indulgent body oil packed full of nourishing oils. This body oil is definitely luxurious. You might be saying to yourself £52 for a 100ml body oil!! Yes I know it’s a big splurge, however with the right application it will last ages.
So body oils work best on damp skin right after a shower/bath as they absorb better and help lock in moisture.
I personally like to apply oils on slightly wet skin as I find it gives my dry skin the maximum hydration it needs.
After a bath or shower, I pump a small amount of oil into my palm and then rub my palms together to warm up the oil before massaging into my skin. Warming the oil first helps the oil spread more so you will find a few drops of oil go a long way. That way I can cover a larger section of my body. It absorbs well and penetrates deeper.
This body oil is the ultimate remedy for dry, thirsty skin. My skin feels totally pampered, supple, smooth, soft and hydrated for longer without any greasy or sticky residue. I’m totally loving having silky soft summer skin with a gorgeous glow.
It has a beautiful fresh and citrusy scent that lingers which is perfect for summer. You can also enjoy the benefits in the bath by adding a few drops into a warm bath.
