Finally schools are out for summer! The weather has been scorching and it’s been hard trying to keep my kids entertained and stay cool. Thankfully this month’s LoveLula Beauty box arrived with some lovely goodies.
There’s a nice variety of products featured this month and the total value is a whopping £53!
My.Haircare infuse My. colour Treat Conditioner (250ml | £18)
Treat Conditioner is the perfect sealant for My. Haircare’s Infuse My Colour Wash line completing the shampoo and condition regime of colour infusion.
Infused with Neroli extract, tangerine butter and sunflower seed extract it enriches hair with lasting hydration for full colour protection and shine.

I haven’t had the chance to use this conditioner as my hair is currently in braids. The consistency is thick and creamy and it does have a fairly strong perfume scent. I’ll give it a try next month.
Ooh! Oils of Heaven Organic Hemp Balancing Face Oil (30ml | £19)
The Oils of Heaven Organic Hemp oil is cold pressed from the hemp seed to preserve the maximum of beneficial ingredients.
It is naturally rich in essential fatty acids, omega 6 and omega 3 while having an ultra-low comedogenic index, making it suitable for all skin types including oily skin and skin prone to acne.
Skin feels tighter and firmer providing your skin with deep hydration and protection without clogging the pores.
The low comedogenic index makes it a dry, non-greasy oil.
Ooh! oils of heaven has become a firm favourite and I’m always excited to try out new ones.
Hemp Seed Oil has an amazing natural ability to moisturise and condition the skin. It has been dubbed “Nature’s most perfectly balanced oil“, due to the fact that it contains all of the 21 known amino acids and offers the perfectly balanced 3:1 ratio of Omega 6 (Linoleic) to Omega 3 (alpha-Linolenic) essential fatty acids, determined to be the optimum requirement for a healthy skin.
It is a dry non-greasy oil and can be used to help re-balance oily skin. It works really well on my skin and helps treat dehydration. It moisturises without clogging my pores and works well under makeup as it doesn’t leave any oily residue.
It is also great for treating skin inflammation including psoriasis, acne, eczema and dermatitis. I also like to use it on my hair and scalp.
It has a distinct, nutty scent which I actually like. I know it’s not to everyone’s liking but it dissipates quickly.
D’Alchemy Age-Cancellation Booster Sample
(50ml | £42.78)
A complex lotion with two-way lifting and anti-ageing action designed for oily and combination skin prone to blemishes. The formula stimulates collagen fibres to visibly improve firmness, tone and elasticity of the skin.
Spectacularly irons out wrinkles and reduces their visibility, acting precisely where they are formed. Effectively reduces inflammatory lesions. Natural plant extracts and hydrosols penetrate deep into the epidermis, providing an antiseptic and gently tightening action.
Exfoliating ingredients eliminate dead skin cells responsible for blocking up pores and the formation of blackheads. The formula provides perfect hydration and reduces shine. Used on a long-term basis it restores skin balance, making the skin radiant and even in colour.
I’ve had my eye on D’Alchemy for a while now so it was great to see a sample in the box. My hubby laughed at the name… not sure if he was trying to make fun of my age!
First impressions – the consistency is light and it has a lovely citrusy scent. I managed to get 2 uses out of the sample morning and evening. It absorbed very quickly and left my skin soft, smooth and hydrated. It also works well under makeup.
CHOBS Organic Aloe Sheet Mask Pack (25ml | £4.10)
A special blend of Organic aloe vera leaf extract, organic rosemary leaf extract and organic chamomile flower water to give your skin a rejuvenation instant shot at home.
A perfect multitasker mask pack for all group ages and all the times, with the ability to remove dead skin cells and promote the reproduction of new ones, treat acne and pimples, enhance skin’s elasticity and reduce dullness.
After removing the mask, I gently patted the remaining formula into my skin. My skin felt soft, calmed and looked more radiant. I will definitely check out their other face mask sheets.
Balm Balm Tea Tree Organic Face Balm (30ml | £8.95)
Balm Balm Tea Tree Face Balm is a wonderfully emollient, natural, organic balm suitable for all skin types. A multi-purpose super concentrated blend of oils and waxes infused with tea tree essential oil known for its antibacterial properties to help soothe away all sorts of little problems.
Tips for Using Balm Balm:
- Skincare: Warm a little Balm Balm between your fingertips until it appears oily. Use underneath foundation or lipstickto allow them to smooth over skin more easily, diluted just enough to give a really natural look. Your own tinted moisturiser or lip gloss.
- Cuticles: Rub a little Balm balm into cuticles and nails and leave for a few mintues before gently pushing cuticles down with an orange stick. Balm Balm will soften cuticles & condition nails.
- Eyebrows: Are they wild & unruly? Keep them in place with a dab of BalmBalm. Use on hair too.
- Eyelashes: Try on your eyelashes & delicate skin around the eyes each evening to condition and nourish as you sleep.
- Heels & Elbows: On your feet all day? Hard skin is the result and nothing is a greater reflection of age. Rub Balm Balm into them regularly and notice the difference in just a few days.
If you’re looking for an affordable, effective and multi-purpose balm – you’ve got to try Balm Balm. I’m a huge fan of their products.
I’ve used this tea tree face balm before and it’s a favourite. A little goes a long way and it absorbs well, leaving my skin soft and balanced. It is a handy multi-purpose balm and as it contains tea tree oil is also great for cuts, scrapes and bruises.
