It has been an incredibly busy September for me. Kids going back to school, trying to settle into new routines, juggling family and work.
It’s time to share this month’s LoveLula Beauty Box which has a total value of £65.
Apart from the John Masters samples, all the other products are new for me which is exciting.
First up…
Kathleen Natural Rebalancing & Soothing Tonifying Mist (150ml | £23)
This light scented and alcohol-free Kathleen Tonifying Mist is ideal for all skin types, even extra sensitive skin, to revitalize and soothe your skin. This exclusive gentle and botanical formula of aloe vera, glycerin, chamomile and lemon extracts helps to moisturize dry skin and heal and soothe skin irritation, leaving skin more tone, less redness and radiant appearance.

I’ve been using the Kathleen Natural Cleansing lotion which I absolutely love (review shortly) so I was excited to try the toner.
In my morning I like to spritz on my skin before I apply my moisturiser. In the evening I spray onto cotton pads and genty sweep over my face and neck.
It has a lovely light scent (natural essential oil) and feels soothing and refreshing on my skin.
Macho and Bling Anti Pollution Face Scrub Grapefruit (30ml | £6.50)
Ingredients:
|
I’ve never heard of Macho & Bling but they are a unisex skincare brand. This face scrub is pretty basic to me and rather unimpressive. I’m not enthusiastic about the ingredients and it didn’t do much for my skin. One to pass on to my hubby then.
The Castilian Soap Company – Fragrance Free Natural Castile Soap (250ml | £8)
Ingredients:
|
Castile soap is a great multi-purpose product and a staple for most natural households. You can find many uses for castile soap around the home… from bathing to laundry, washing dishes and floors….
This one is fragrance free, if you prefer scented versions you can add a few drops of your favourite essential oil. They also have Peppermint, Rose geranium, Tea tree and Lavender versions available.
It is highly concentrated, so I find it’s best to dilute and use sparingly. It cleans well but doesn’t leave my skin stripped.
Inika Loose Mineral Blush Blooming Nude (3g | £23)
Our Loose Mineral Blush gives you warm, luscious colours delivered straight from nature. And now you can choose your favourite way to apply our blush, either as loose minerals with a brush, or, as a convenient puff-pot for on-the-go application.
Ingredients:
|
I like Inika as a brand and I hope one day they will extend their shades to accommodate all skin tones. As you can see this blush barely shows up on my skin. This is one I’ll be passing onto a friend.
John Masters Organics Sample Set – includes:
Evening Primrose Shampoo for dry hair (10ml | £0.50)
Lavender & Avocado Intensive Conditioner (10ml | £0.50)
Citrus & Neroli Detangler (10ml | £0.50)
Rose & Apricot Hair Milk (10ml | £0.50)
I’ve been a long time fan of John Masters Organics so these are products I’ve used several times. I know a while back they changed the formula on some hair products which included silicones. I wasn’t happy about that and I know several customers complained!
I’m happy they have gone back and taken out those dreaded silicones so I can enjoy the products.
