I’m absolutely loving the packaging of this aloe vera gel. The wooden cap makes it look super chic. I love that this gel is free from artificial fragrance and essential oils, great for those with sensitive skin.
For those with oily or acne-prone skin, this is a great oil-free moisturiser. It moisturises and hydrates the skin without clogging your pores.
Thanks to its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties it works wonders at helping me get rid of any breakouts quickly and reduce any inflammation and redness. It accelerates the production of new skin cells and I’ve also found it helps to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
I keep it handy for my kids to help heal any cuts, bumps, soothe rashes and skin irritations.
As its been extremely hot and humid I like to keep mine in the fridge so it feels wonderfully cooling and refreshing when I slather it on. It is especially soothing after being out in the sun and helps heal any sunburns.
During the summer months I prefer light moisturisers and this is perfect for my skin. It is a lightweight gel and feels slightly tacky but it absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue. My skin feels hydrated and plumped afterwards.
It is also a great makeup primer, it helps smooth, even out my skin and absorbs excess oil. My makeup stays fresh and lasts longer.
My hair also loves it. Aloe vera gel is a great natural remedy for dry hair and itchy scalp. I apply to my scalp and leave it overnight. I also like to use it in my DIY conditioner, I mix with some coconut oil and honey.
Overall it’s my must-have this summer. Can’t be without it!
