Review – Dafna’s Personal Skincare Serenity Oil

I’m always excited to try new products from one of my favourite brands Dafna’s Personal Skincare.

Dafna’s Personal Skincare was created in 2008 by Dafna Shaham, a trained aromatherapist, naturopath and cosmetics formulator of natural products.

In collaboration with scientists she created her anti-ageing skincare based on the Ayurvedic philosophy, using high concentrations of active ingredients and advanced biotechnology that bring visible results to skin, health and wellbeing.

Designed to have beneficial effects on the skin and well-being, each of Dafna’s products is much more than a cosmetic product; it is a rite, a feeling, a true wellness experience inside and out.

CALMING BEAUTY DEFENSE OIL

Serenity oil is a highly soothing organic facial oil designed to help restore skin elasticity, calm irritations, sunburns and soothe skin dryness.

Calming blend of hand selected, soothing and healing organic oils and organic extracts of Arnica, Chamomile, Blue Tansy and Chia reduce sensitivity and dryness. Organic Centella Asiatica, Rosehip and Licorice fight skin oxidation and help to renew skin cells.

MY MOMENT™ RITUAL

I love my evening routine as I get to pause, take time out for myself and prep my skin for bedtime. Indulging in a facial massage using a face oil is the favourite part of my evening routine.

As we sleep our bodies relax, heals and repairs itself so I like to incorporate facial oil massage into my routine. It helps to boost the skin’s natural repair process, release stress and tension, leaving me feeling calm, relaxed and ready for sleep.

After cleansing my skin, I warm up 3-4 drops in my palms and breathe in the soothing aromatic scent. I enjoy a mindful moment before I massage the oil onto damp skin. The consistency of the oil is lightweight and non-greasy and it absorbs well into the skin.

I love how deeply nourishing this oil is, it helps to rejuvenate and restore my skin as I sleep. My skin looks and feels healthy, refreshed and radiant in the morning.
