Review – Tropic Skincare Face Masks

Incorporating a face mask into your skincare routine is essential for targeting specific skin concerns. Whether your goal is to moisturize, calm, or detoxify your skin, there is a mask suited to your needs.

Masking is the highlight of my skincare routine as it gives me the opportunity to indulge in some much needed self-care.

Choosing a suitable face mask for your skin goals and needs is vital for a complete skincare routine. It is important to choose masks with ingredients that are suited to your skin and it’s needs.

Tropic Skincare have a range of organic face masks to help balance, hydrate and rejuvenate your skin.

What I love most about these masks is they are perfect for multi-masking. I have combination skin with areas that are dehydrated and dull.

Multi-masking involves using multiple masks on different areas of the face to treat the specific skin concerns.

FINDING YOUR PERFECT MATCH

Skin type: Dry, dehydrated, sensitive or irritated

Try: Comfort Food Deep Hydration Mask

Powered by resurrection flower, wild Australian superberries and cucumber extracts, this thirst-quenching, cream-gel mask leaves skin plump, soft and dewy.

You can apply this as a mask and leave for 20-40 minutes, or it can double up as an overnight moisturiser. Use 1-3 times a week for soft and soothed skin.

This face mask has a creamy, yogurt-like consistency and a subtle cucumber scent. I have combination skin with areas of dehydration, primarily my cheeks. The handy mask spatula makes it easy to apply the mask evenly to my where my skin needs it.

I leave it on for 20-30 minutes while I just chill out. After rinsing my skin feels silky-soft, smooth and hydrated.

Skin type: Oily or blemish-prone

Try: New Horizons Blemish-Clearing Mask

With blue spirulina, willow bark, and ginger extracts, this powerful clay mask is specifically formulated to help soothe and clear complexions, keeping blemishes at bay.

Use as a mask for targeted areas, apply all over the face or even dab onto stubborn blemishes overnight. This clarifying mask should be left on for 20 minutes 1-3 times a week on targeted areas of congestion and excess oil.

This mask is smooth and creamy and feels cooling on the skin. I apply it to my T-zone, leave on for 20 minutes and then rinse off.

The active ingredients in the face mask are designed to detoxify the skin by removing excess oils and impurities from the pores. After using it, my skin feels clearer, refreshed, and less congested.

Skin type: Dull or ageing

Try:  Electric Bloom Brightening Tightening Mask

Enriched with agave nectar, electric daisies and sea buckthorn extracts, this firming and toning mask will leave your complexion lifted, bright and smooth.

Apply an even layer to any dull areas using your Mask Spatula. Leave for 10-20 minutes before rinsing with warm water to reveal your brighter, firmer complexion.

This is my go-to favourite mask. The consistency is creamy and smooth with a subtle fruity scent. I apply to my skin and leave it on for 20 minutes.

I love how it instantly brightens my skin, leaving it more balanced, radiant and smooth.

P.S. Tropic has recently reformulated the New Horizons and Electric Bloom face masks at the time of writing this post.

Have you tried any of these masks? I would love to hear from you in the comments.
