SHOCKING OCEAN PLASTIC STATISTICS:
- More than 1 million seabirds and 100,000 marine animals die from plastic pollution every year.
- 100% of baby sea turtles have plastic in their stomachs.
- There is now 5.25 trillion macro and micro pieces of plastic in our ocean & 46,000 pieces in every square mile of ocean, weighing up to 269,000 tonnes.
- Every day around 8 million pieces of plastic makes their way into our oceans.
- The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is around 1.6 million square kilometers – bigger than Texas.
- The world produces 381 million tonnes in plastic waste yearly – this is set to double by 2034.

Plastic Free July is an initiative that started in 2011. It has become a global movement that empowers millions of people to be part of the solution to plastic pollution – so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities
This campaign gives us all an opportunity to ‘say no’ to single-use plastics, find alternatives and reduce plastic waste.
You can start out small and pick one disposable item to avoid, like single-use plastic straws, coffee cups, grocery bags, or water bottles.
Another great way is to swap your single-use plastic shower gel for bar soap.

These soap bars create a rich and creamy lather and smell lovely. I’m not a fan of most bars as they really dry out my skin, leaving it feeling tight and uncomfortable.
Thankfully these soap bars leave my skin cleansed without drying out my skin. My skin feels nice and soft. It also doesn’t leave that unpleasant residue you get from most soap bars that leave your skin tacky.
I absolutely love these soap bars. They are excellent value for money and long-lasting.
