Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping safe and well. It’s time to share my thoughts on October’s LoveLula Beauty Box .

This month’s box contains full-sized products from Moi Vert, Laidbare, Balm Balm and Emani and a sample sachet from Antipodes.

The total value of this month’s box is £55. There’s also an exclusive beauty box offer of 20% off the brands featured in the box.
Let’s have a look at what’s in this month’s box….
Laidbare Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow! Hair Minimising Cream 125ml
Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow contains a synergistic botanical complex of Liquorice Extract, Caffeine, and Horse Chestnut Seed Extract, which in combination slows down hair growth and re-growth by maintaining the hair cells in their growth stage, with a inhibiting effect. Our blend also acts as an anti-inflammatory to help the skin protect itself from the potential rigours of hair removal.

Ingredients:
Aqua(water), aloe barbadensis(aloe vera)leaf juice, polysorbate 20(naturally derived emulsifier, glycerin (coconut)common, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone(silicone), dehydroacetic acid, benzyl alcohol(naturally derived preservative), mannitol(botanical), ammonium glycyrrhizate(liquorice), caffeine(coffee), aesculus hippocastanum(horse chestnut) extract, zinc gluconate(zinc irons), citrus medica limonum(lemon) peel oil, xanthum gum(naturally derived thickener), citrus aurantifolia (lime)oil, betula alba(birch) leaf extract, althaea officinalis(marshmallow) root extract, potassium sorbate (naturally derived preservative), sodium benzoate(naturally derived preservative), limonene(essential oil), citral (essential oil).

This product has been featured in a previous box. I passed it on then and will be doing so again as it contains silicones.

Ingredients:
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Mica (CI 77019), Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Rosmarinus (Rosemary) Officinalis Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Caprylyl Glycol (Coconut), Ethylthexylglycerin, Fragrance. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77947, CI 77489, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Red 30 (CI 73360), Red 7 (CI 15850), Red 28 (CI 45410)

I’m not much of a lipstick fan, I find many of them feel dry and cakey on my lips. I was hopeful as the packaging said hydrating lip color. Firstly, the shade isn’t one I would choose for myself. I also found it hard to apply, I didn’t find it emollient or hydrating at all. It didn’t glide on smoothly and felt drying on my lips.
Sadly this lipstick gets a thumbs down from me.
Antipodes Baptise H20 Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel Sample
This weightless, intensive formula immerses thirsty skin in pure, natural moisture. Deeply thirst-quenching without heaviness or oiliness, the formula is easily absorbed yet powerfully hydrates skin, all day and night.

World-famous New Zealand manuka honey and naturally sourced hyaluronic acid, bestow their humectant properties, drawing moisture to the skin for enduring hydration. Harakeke gel combines with mamaku black fern and hibiscus flower to help revitalize cells and protect the skin. A fragrance of fresh rose uplifts your senses and skin feels born again. Suited to most skin types, especially dry.

Ingredients:
Aqua (water), glycerine, sodium acrylates copolymer & lecithin, dehydroacetic acid, benzyl alcohol, glyceryl caprylate, polysorbate 20, hyaluronic acid (plant-based), glycerine & water & Terminalia ferdinandiana (kakadu plum) fruit extract, sodium citrate, lysolecithin & sclerotium gum & xanthan gum & pullulan, Phormium tenax (harakeke) flax extract, Hibiscus sabdariffa (hibiscus) flower extract, Leptospermum scoparium mel (manuka) honey, Cyathea medullaris (mamaku black fern) extract, Zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf extract, mica, titanium dioxide, Rose Anatolia: citral, citronellol, eugenol, geraniol, linalool.

I’ve been contemplating purchasing the Baptise gel for a while now so I was happy to try out the sample first. It has a lightweight gel consistency and a gorgeous rose scent that is uplifting.
I love how easily it absorbs into my skin, it is super hydrating and leaves my skin soft, smooth and plump.
Moi Vert Natural Deodorant – Fragrance Free 60ml
Moivert deodorants consist of only the purest ingredients. They are simple yet effective formulations, combining skin friendly essential oils and nourishing shea butter.
FRAGRANCE FREE is the ideal deodorant that gently absorbs any unwanted odours and leaves your underarms feeling cared for.

Ingredients:
Tapioca starch, Butyrospermum parkii butter, Cocos nucifera oil, Sodium bicarbonate.

I’ve used natural deodorants with bicarbonate of soda for a while now and I’ve found them effective. However in the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed my skin has become super sensitive and I’ve suffered a severe reaction to any deodorant with bicarb.
I’ve now transitioned to a natural deodorant without bicarb. So sadly I’m unable to try out this deodorant and I’ve passed it on to my hubby.
The formula is pretty simple with only 4 ingredients. This fragrance free version has a strong shea butter scent, so if you’re not a fan of the scent I would recommend trying out the fragrance versions.
Balm Balm Little Miracle Rosehip Serum 30ml
Moisturises, rejuvenates and refines skin.
This beautifully rich blend of rosehip, jojoba and borage oils generously infused with frankincense, rose geranium, palmarosa, juniper and mandarin essential oils will literally feed your skin, allowing it to breathe, even out texture and feel totally rejuvenated.
Made from luxuriously fine carrier oils, so similar to our own skins make up that they are miraculously absorbed leaving no oiliness whatsoever.

Ingredients:
Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Borago Officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil, Boswellia Neglecta Oil, Pelagonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Cymbopogon Martini Oil, Juniperus Communis Fruit Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, citronellol, geraniol, linaool, citral, limonene, farnesol.

I was pleased to see another favourite from Balm Balm. I can never go wrong with them and this is one of their bestsellers.
It is packed full of nourishing and rejuvenating oils that work wonders on my skin. The scent is amazing, the blend of essential oils is aromatic and refreshing.
A little goes a long way, I massage 2 drops into damp skin and then follow up with my daily moisturiser. I also like to use it on its own as a night-time facial treatment.
It sinks well into the skin, leaves my skin deeply moisturised without feeling greasy. Definitely a favourite of mine!
