If you’re on a mission to ditch unnecessary single-use plastics, then I’ve got just the brand for you!

Poapoa produces a 100% plant based artisan soap bars, shampoos and body washes with a fresh take on fair trade and sustainability. Products are produced ‘at the source’ in Africa and SE Asia driving transparency standards and responsible sourcing.

Natural, as standard.

We work directly with smallholder farmers and local producers (predominantly female workers), in Ghana, Kenya and the Philippines to create finished products, at source. The focus is on the highest quality plant derived natural ingredients which are also hand blended in small batches.

We focus our attention on what’s in our formulas, so our soap bars are made only with shea butter and coconut oil (not palm oil) to create a more ethically conscious premium soap that has a positive impact on the environment and has enhanced moisturising qualities.

I love discovering new plastic-free swaps so I can ditch plastic in my bathroom. Using soap, shampoo and conditioner bars is great as they are eco-friendly, zero waste and kinder to our planet. I picked out some products to try out…

A beautiful piece to bring harmony in your bathroom and to store your cold processed and natural Poapoa Soaps!

Handmade by skilled artisans in Ghana, this soap dish is a source of livelihood and it’s also 100% natural and easy to wash. Undoubtedly the best way to store your Poapoa cold processed soaps!

I love that this soap dish is made from upcycled coconut shells. It looks beautiful and is a great dish to store your natural soap, shampoo or conditioner bar. It allows the bars to dry out naturally and prevents it from going mushy. I absolutely love it as it makes the bars last longer. Highly recommend!
