Celebrate Organic September With Nourish London’s 10 Years Of Green Beauty Birthday Collection

As a green beauty advocate, my favourite time of the year is here – Soil Association’s Organic September.

Organic September is a month-long campaign to raise awareness of the many benefits of organic food and farming, which include: 

• Supporting biodiversity and wildlife
• Helping to combat climate change
• The highest standards of animal welfare
• Reduced exposure to pesticides
• Food as it should be, and food you can trust

This year’s campaign’s key message is

“NATURE HAS THE ANSWER… and the answer is certified organic.”

As part of the month-long campaign, this week is Organic Beauty and Wellbeing Week (6-12 September). If you are new to organic beauty then choosing certified organic beauty and wellbeing products is one way to join the movement.

UK sales of organic beauty and wellbeing products have increased from £30.1m per year in 2011, to £120m per year in 2020. This is a 299 % increase in sales over 10 years. (Source: Soil Association 2021 Organic Beauty & Wellbeing Market Report).

Step 1 – Cleanse

Kale 3D Cleanse – 30 ml

Reveal healthy, radiant skin by using this innovative, colour changing cleanser that gently but deeply cleanses the skin, removing make-up and any impurities.

Scientifically formulated with Hyaluronic acid, probiotics and oxygenating extracts to energise and refresh the skin.
Supercharged Kale and Griffonia detoxify and protect against pollution, helping to minimise signs of ageing.

Dispense a small amount of Kale 3D Cleanse onto fingertips and apply to damp skin. Massage thoroughly into the skin as the colour changes to green. Remove by rinsing with warm water and pat dry.

The cleanser has a creamy consistency with a white, pearlescent colour. It has a lovely fresh, herbal scent that I find refreshing and uplifting. I love how it changes colour from white to green as you massage into damp skin.

It removes impurities, deep cleanses and refreshes my skin. It rinses off easily, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. I love how more balanced my skin feels and it it looks brighter with a healthy glow.

Step 2 – Protect and Prep

Antioxidant Peptide Mist – 15ml

A multi-tasking face mist formulated with peptides to instantly hydrate, brighten, protect & calm the skin. 

Daily skin protection powered with antioxidant turmeric, probiotic minerals and anti-ageing peptides, this facial mist reinforces the skin’s natural defences against harmful environmental damage such as pollution and oxidative stress.

Close eyes and spritz Antioxidant Peptide Mist over the face in the morning to refresh and hydrate the skin, as a primer before make-up application and to protect the skin against pollution and oxidative stress.  Can also be spritzed over make-up during the day to refresh and hydrate and again in the evening under or over your moisturiser.

This is a lovely multi-tasking mist that cools, refreshes and hydrates my skin. The essential oil blend of Petitgrain, Geranium & Lavender soothes the senses, helps to relieve tension and promotes a sense of calm and relaxation.

Argan Anti-ageing Peptide Serum – 15ml

A supercharged face serum formulated with a powerful anti-ageing cocktail of Tripeptides, Hyaluronic acid, Argan and Kale to boost collagen, smooth and nourish the skin and reduce fine lines.

Tripeptides stimulate production of collagen to reduce fine lines. Argan oil and hyaluronic acid hydrate and replenish the skin. Kale protects against pollution and minimises signs of ageing whilst Tonka bean extract boosts natural luminosity.

Dot a small amount of Argan Anti-Ageing Peptide Serum evenly over the face and neck before smoothing over the skin.

This serum smells amazing and has a light and silky feel on the skin. A little goes a long way and it absorbs easily leaving my skin soft and smooth. I love how plump and hydrated my skin feels afterwards.

Step 4 – Moisturise

Pump a small amount of Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser onto your fingertips and apply over face and neck. Lightly massage into the skin using upward movements.

I absolutely love this moisturiser. It has a beautiful herbal and floral scent. The consistency is nice and creamy and it absorbs well into my skin. It doesn’t leave a greasy residue and is the perfect base for makeup.

It really does nourish the skin and leaves my skin so soft, smooth, hydrated and balanced.

Step 5 – Relax & Balance

Probiotic Multi-mineral Repair Mask

Probiotic Multi-Mineral Repair Mask is a nutrient-rich treatment powered with probiotic minerals essential for healthy skin repair.

Infused with Damask Rose and Lavender, this innovative complex of probiotic minerals will help to restore healthy, supple skin.

Magnesium, our star ingredient will help address any inflammation of the dermis which can lead to skin problems such as rosacea and acne. It calms the skin from the irritating effects of pollution and also helps rebalance sebum production for oily skin.

Using fingertips, gently massage the Probiotic Multi-Mineral Repair Mask onto the face and neck in a circular motion, then relax for at least 5 minutes as the calming mineral complex is absorbed into the skin. Wipe away any excess with a warm dampened cloth.  Can also be left on as a thin layer overnight.

I love my face masks especially multi-tasking ones. This is a great mask that can be used used for 5 minutes to give your skin a quick boost or as an overnight treatment.

The consistency is like a rich creamy moisturiser and it is softly scented with floral rosewater and lavender. I’m totally sold on it as I saw immediate results after one use.

It soothes, hydrates and nourishes my skin. I love how radiant and healthy my skin looks afterwards.
