After cleansing, apply conditioner to the hair with a focus on the ends. Place on a shower cap and leave for 10-15 minutes, then rinse out thoroughly with water.

Flora & Curl Rose Water & Honey Molasses Moisture Mask

Powered by Raw Sugar Molasses and Honey, this intensive treatment replenishes moisture back to dry and damaged curls. If your curls are feeling brittle or dry, this buttery mask melts into curls to impart silkiness, with curls feeling replenished with lots of moisture. Infused with Marshmallow Root extract, the detangling benefits are enhanced to help loosen up knots and tangles and add extra slip. After shampooing, apply the mask to your hair with a focus on the ends. A little goes a long way. Place a shower cap and leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse out thoroughly with water and style as usual. Use every 4-6 weeks for an intensive moisture treatment, or whenever your curls feel excessively dry, brittle and damaged.

This mask has been raved about so I was excited to try it out. It has a sweet honey scent and runny consistency but once applied it coats the hair strands.

My hair feels soft and silky after application and detangling is a breeze. My hair craves moisture so I always deep condition every week. I like to sit under my steamer for 15 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

After rinsing my hair feels super soft, moisturised and hydrated which helps to keep the hair cuticle smooth and shiny.

I can’t count the amount of shower caps I’ve had to bin. Finally a long lasting versatile shower cap that is better for the environment. It fits really well, nice and snug on my head. You can use it 2 ways:

Shower cap / Hair is kept dry at all times, with an elasticated opening that expands and contracts for a snug fit that won’t let a drop of water inside.

I definitely had to include this firm favourite. I absolutely love this leave-in and use it as a detangler and styler. It has 2 of my favourite essential oils (Ylang ylang and May Chang) so you know it smells divine. The consistency is light and creamy and it delivers adequate moisture to my thick kinky curls.

It literally melts into my hair leaving it super soft, moisturised and tangle free. My hair stays moisturised for days and when I reapply I don’t get the dreaded product ‘build-up’.

The results from using it as a styler were amazing. I got incredible frizz free definition from my twist out.

Pump it 2-3 times into your palms, then apply to your hair while smoothing it down. Allow curls to form, then air dry to set curls. A hooded dryer, or a diffuser may be used for faster drying. It can be applied to:

Dry hair: Apply it lightly to dry 2nd or 3rd-day hair to volumize your curls during the week.
Damp or freshly washed hair: Apply it to damp hair then style as usual.

For extra curl enhancement, apply it before or after using the Sweet Hibiscus Curl Activating Lotion, Curl Defining Gel and Twist & Braid Cream. A perfect bundle!

I’m currently loving styling my hair with a mousse. The consistency is light and airy like fluffy clouds and smells delicious. It can be used on wash-and go’s, braid outs, twist outs, rodsets and many more protective styles! It dries quickly and my hair doesn’t feel sticky, weighed down or leave any flaky residue. It gives my hair a light hold and my curls are silky soft, defined and shiny – just the way I like it!
