Hi there, I’m Lola Skinner. I live in Little Chalfont, a village in south-east Buckinghamshire, England with my husband David and our 2 munchkins Josiah and Annaliese.
I’m currently a stay at home mum, balancing home educating my son while running my home and blog. I do love a challenge!
I started the blog ‘2mumviews’ back in 2015 with a fellow mum and friend to share our natural and organic product reviews. Over the last few years I have been flying solo so I thought it was time for a name change and revamp.
I’ve always loved skincare and makeup and truth be told I’m quite the product junkie. I suffered terrible acne in my early years and I spent countless time and money visiting several large department stores sampling every product under the sun.
My quest for a natural, non-toxic and organic lifestyle started back in 2009 after suffering two miscarriages. I soon realised my body was toxic. I had spent years consuming unhealthy foods and slathering products with toxic ingredients on my skin and hair.
It was time for a massive change! I started researching ingredients and becoming more aware of what was in the products I was using everyday. I also had to embark on a natural hair journey and chopped off all my hair as my hair had been chemically straightened since I was 10 years old. I made the decision to ditch my conventional beauty products for natural, organic and non-toxic alternatives and I haven’t looked back.
This blog is aimed at providing detailed reviews on a variety of green beauty, health and wellness products to suit every budget. Whatever I share is 100% my honest opinion and I hope it inspires my readers to make informed choices.
