Pure Goodness Green juice Recipe

IMG_6707

I find it hard to eat alot of green veg.  It’s a lot easier for me to juice rather than crunching a whole celery or a plateful of kale, broccoli or spinach.  If you’re having trouble getting all your nutrients for the day, I highly recommend juicing as it allows you to consume a wide variety of fruit and veg all at once.  It is such an amazing way to get all your nutrients in one go.

Greens are high in chlorophyll and other phytonutrients.  The greener the leaves, the more concentrated the amount of chlorophyll.  Kale, Spinach and Cavolo nero are my go-to veggies.

Chlorophyll cleanses the blood, and is highly beneficial in cleansing the bowel, liver and other elimination systems.

Now most green juices have a reputation for tasting vile, I like to add some fruits to make my green juices less ‘yucky’ so even my little ones can enjoy them.

It is best to drink juice on an empty stomach as this allows the vitamins and minerals in the juice to go straight to your bloodstream.

I like to kick start my day with this green juice recipe.

  • 200g spinach
