LoveLula Beauty Box February 2016

Hey everyone!

So it’s that time again.  I received my February LoveLula Beauty Box over the weekend and I’m really pleased with this month’s goodies.

No new brands for me this month.  As usual the boxes are really good value for money.

What’s in the box:

Whether rinsed out or used as a leave-in conditioner, this lightweight formula detangles and conditions with a highly-effective combination of 17 certified-organic ingredients. Natural soy proteins and borage oil replenish lipid content. Wheat amino acids & soy proteins restore strength and shine, while essential oils of grapefruit, lemon and neroli provide an uplifting aroma. Safe for color-treated hair.

This is one my favourite John Masters Organics hair products.  I’ve used it several times over the years as a leave in conditioner.  My hair is super thick, parched and frizzy and this leave in helps to detangle, moisturise and smooth my curls.  It has a nice consistency and smells yummy.

This black eye pencil offers a smooth, rich mineral colour that is free from all toxic and synthetic ingredients and is ideal for sensitive eyes. It is perfect for creating a dramatic smokey eye look, or for more subtle definition to enhance the natural beauty of your eyes.

Ricinis Communis oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis oil*, Helianthus Annuus seed oil*, Cera Alba*, Cera Carnauba*, Candelilla Cera*, Oleic/Linoleic/ Linolenic Poly-glycerides, Butyrospermum Parkii butter*, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract*, Rosmarinus Officinalis Extract*.

This entire make up range was the first to be approved by the Fairtrade Foundation using Fairtrade certified ingredients. As well as being Fairtrade certified, it has also passed the Soil Association’s exceptionally high organic standards AND is cruelty free.

Balm Balm’s Tea Tree 100% Organic Lip Balm moisturises and conditions. It is anti bacterial too so will help soothe away all sorts of little problems.

Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Helianthus annuus (sunflower oil), Cera alba (beeswax), Calendula officinalis (calendula oil), Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba oil), Tea tree essential oil.

I love multi purpose products. This is not just for lips, I always have it on hand to dab on cuts, spots, stings and it also works well to clear up nappy rash.

This incredibly gentle cleanser is made simply from blended coconut oils making it suitable for the most delicate of skins and even for removing eye make-up. When used with a damp muslin cloth, will deep cleanse your skin. Made from fractionated Coconut Oil which is mechanically extracted from virgin coconut butter without the use of chemicals, resulting in an incredibly light oil which is easily removed with water.
Caprylic/capric triglycerides (Coconut Oil).

This cleanser is new to me.  It is very light and works well to remove makeup.  I can’t say it gave me a deep cleanse, I prefer cleansing balms to be honest. It also doesn’t have any scent at all.

For all skin types, softens skin.

Whether at work, during sport or in your free time, Hydrating Foot Cream is ideal for daily foot care and an invigorating foot massage. The creamy consistency absorbs quickly to offer intensive care and moisture, especially for dry feet.

Water/Aqua, Glycerin, Alcohol, Fragrance/Parfum, Hypericum Perforatum Extract, Arachis Hypogaea (Peanut) Oil, Lanolin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Prunus Spinosa Fruit Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Zinc Oxide, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Bentonite, Lactose, Limonene*, Citral*, Linalool*, Geraniol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Farnesol*, Citronellol*, Coumarin*, Eugenol*, Benzyl Salicylate*, Xanthan Gum, Lysolecithin, Propolis Wax.

My feet are super dry and surprisingly this cream worked well to soften and moisturise my feet without feeling greasy.  It also has a lovely scent.

A gel-serum that instantly firms, lifts and plumps the skin to leave it looking dramatically smoother, tighter and more youthful. A liquid matrix of Hyaluronans supercharges the skin with firming moisture and encourages elastin synthesis to firm and remodel the skin over time.

Aqua (water), Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Pullalan, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Porphyridium Cruentum Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Citronellol, Geraniol

I’ve used this product before and it’s very effective.  My skin feels smoother and brighter.

A light gel-serum that instantly lifts and dramatically brightens the delicate eye area. Visibly diminishes dark circles and puffiness. A liquid matrix of Hyaluronans lifts and tightens. Regular use will reduce the appearance of fine lines and crow’s feet, improving the overall look of the eye contour.

Aqua (Water), Silica, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Glycerin, Pullulan, Carbomer, Mica, Ci77891 (Titanium Dioxide), Polianthes Tuberosa Callus Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Porphyridium Cruentum Extract, Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena Extract, Citronellol, Geraniol.

I don’t have any dark circles, fine lines or crow’s feet so I can’t say how effective this product is.  The full size is rather pricey so I won’t be purchasing it anytime soon!
