I love Burt’s Bees and regularly use their baby range and body products. I haven’t actually tried any of their face products and recently came across the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Collection.
I was keen to try out the range as I’m always on the look out for products that target dehydration.
The inspiration behind the collection is Clary Sage.

The collection includes:
- Intense Hydration Nourishing Facial Water
- Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser
- Intense Hydration Day Lotion
- Intense Hydration Treatment Mask
- Intense Hydration Night Cream
- Intense Hydration Eye Cream
I decided to try the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Lotion 50g (£19.99)
Description:
Love your skin like never before with our fast-absorbing natural day lotion for dry skin.
Infused with Clary Sage and Probiotic Technology, our best anti-aging moisturizer for the daytime is clinically proven to provide intense hydration and also helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Our carefully crafted formula also helps increase skin’s ability to retain moisture, so your dry skin is left feeling soft and supple for a revitalized look.
Formula: 99% natural
Free from parabens, PEG, phthalates, perfumes and synthetic colours
• Intensely hydrates dry skin
• Absorbs quickly with non-greasy formula
• Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Dermatologist Tested and Noncomedogenic
*when used as part of the 5-step Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration regimen
The lotion comes in a recyclable plastic bottle with a pump for easy application.
Now this product is definitely thicker than ‘most’ lotions and feels more like a cream than a lotion. However I really like it, once applied to my skin it absorbed well without any greasy residue. It created a great base for my foundation and the smell is quite pleasant.
This lotion is suitable for dry or mature skin types.
Overall I found this product very effective for my skin and now look forward to trying out more of their face products.
