Balms are my favourite beauty product. I love how versatile and effective they are, you can get so many uses out of them…soothe dry or cracked skin, lips, elbows, heels; eczema; cleansing balm; soften and nourish dry hands, nails and cuticles; nappy balm; minor cuts, bruises, burns, the list goes on…
One of my favourite brands is Herbfarmacy. Their products are formulated using organic herbal ingredients garnered from the company’s own herb farm on the beautiful Welsh Borders.
The range is the result of the life’s work of botanist Dr Paul Richards, who now grows herbs specifically to develop their moisturising, anti-inflammatory and replenishing properties.
This pure and effective skincare range has been designed to nourish, protect and heal the skin and is particularly suited to sensitive skin conditions. The award-winning products include oils, balms, creams and lotions, all of which are beautiful to use and super effective.
All Herbfarmacy products are:
• Approved and registered organic with the Soil Association
• Made from ingredients which are UK grown and produced
• Hand-made in small batches on site at the herb farm
• Made from ethically traded ingredients wherever possible
• Ideal for sensitive skin conditions
• Not tested on animals – humans only!

Another lovely balm which can be used to moisturise and nourish dry, sensitive skin. I use it on dry patches on my skin, a little does go a long way. It absorbs quickly and is not greasy at all. It smells lovely with the calming aroma of lavender and chamomile.
It is a family friendly balm so great for kids too. My hubby and kids have eczema and it works well to soothe and heal the skin.
Herbfarmacy Mallow Beauty Balm (20ml)
The soothing and deeply moisturising properties of the oil extract of herbfarmacy’s signature herb Marshmallow is the basis for this multi award-winning facial balm, and is combined with Mullein flowers which have mucilages that boost the softening effect on lines and wrinkles.

This balm is definitely my favourite. The texture is soft and rich and it smells so good. It is a great multi-tasking balm (face, wrinkles & lines; lips, elbows, dry skin patches). It also works well as a cleansing balm. It is deeply nourishing, I like using it as a night treatment. It is also great for my little mama, I’ve noticed a vast improvement with her eczema.
These balms are really effective and a great way to try out their best-selling balms. You only need a small amount, so these little pots will last a while.
