Lyonsleaf is a brand I’ve used a few times and has made it into my favourites!
Founders Ben and Vicky Lyons are passionate about producing award winning, affordable skincare that is 100% natural and 100% active.
Their products are made on a small farm on the Mendip Hills in Somerset, England. Lyonsleaf grows its own ingredients where possible, to ensure the harvest is the best quality and that nothing has been sprayed or grown with chemicals.
All Lyonsleaf skincare is 100% natural, with every single ingredient working hard to fulfil a purpose for the skin. If an ingredient doesn’t directly benefit the skin, it’s not included in Lyonsleaf products.
They have a water free policy meaning no need for the use of harsh preservatives (Formaldehyde, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate etc.) which kill bacteria that breed in the water element of a product. No need for emulsifiers either which disrupt the delicate balance of moisture and lipids in the skin. You won’t find a single artificial preservative, colour or fragrance in their products so you can rest assured that your skin is being treated with the utmost care.
I am totally for their mission:
to put the power of the beauty industry back into the hands of the people (that’s you!), by educating you about your skin and the ingredients used in beauty, providing real information instead of marketing hype so you can make informed decisions about what is best for your skin.
I’m a huge fan of body butters and I normally whip up my own but lately I’ve been so busy. I tried a sample of their body butter and loved it so decided to get the full size.

This is exactly the kind of body butter I would make myself. It contains my favourite butters and oils and is nice and creamy. It is firm but it quickly melts on contact with the skin. It absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t leave it sticky or greasy.
It also smells amazing thanks to the addition of calendula, clary sage and geranium.
I love, love this body butter as I have dry skin especially on my legs. I apply it on damp skin and I have definitely noticed a difference, it moisturises my skin leaving it softer, smoother with a nice glow.
I’ve also been using it on my kids and love the results, it works well on their eczema.
Have you tried any products from Lyonsleaf?
