When I’m feeling a bit self-indulgent, this face mask is the perfect ‘guilt-free’ chocolate treat. It really does look and smell good enough to eat.
It is easy to mix, you can mix with water, milk or herbal tea. As I smear it on my face, trying not to lick the mixture, the delectable chocolate scent makes my brain release endorphins (happy hormones) and boosts my mood.
I allow it to dry for 15 minutes, wet my hands and gently massage my skin, then I rinse off with warm water.
It does a great job of rejuvenating, hydrating and toning my skin. It is suitable for all skin types, especially tired and stressed skin.

Soy wax is a natural candle wax, from renewable natural resource – soybeans. It is also completely biodegradable. Soy wax burns cleaner than paraffin candles and last up to 50% longer than a comparable paraffin candle.

My guilty pleasure is a lovely cup of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow topping.
This candle is truly a mouthwatering delight! I was pleased that it didn’t have that fake chocolate aroma. It has an authentic cocoa scent and honestly smells like a lovely cup of hot chocolate. My perfect way to indulge in the evening, curled up on the sofa with a book while the delicious aroma fills the room.
As always you should trim the wick to about 5mm before lighting it, this ensures the candle burns evenly without any black soot and also lengthens the candle’s life.
This is the second candle I’ve tried from Joik and it certainly didn’t disappoint. They are reasonably priced and very effective.
