This is my first time trying Absolution, I’ve heard rave reviews. First of all, I love the packaging, you simply turn the cap to dispense the product. It has a lovely almond scent with some citrus tones. The face scrub is really gentle as the particles are very fine. It gently exfoliates leaving my skin super smooth and soft.

Flow Cosmetics Strawberry Milk Facial Mask (full-size) £12.20

A facial mask that radiances and revitalizes tired and dry skin. Nourishing powder mask gently cleanses, soothes and moisturizes the skin and makes it youthful and glowing.

Mineral rich white clay gently cleanses and renews skin cells. Pink clay strengthens capillaries and milk powder makes the skin velvety smooth and soft. Strawberry, rich in vitamin C, brightens and rejuvenates the skin, improves collagen production.

Prevents and heals inflammation, protects the skin against the harmful effects of the environment. Rice flour evens out skin tone. Smooth out wrinkles and pigmentation. Immediate brightening effect and porcelain smooth skin. Suitable for all skin types.

I’ve never heard of Flow Cosmetics but you know I love powder face masks. You mix 2 teaspoons of the powder and 1 teaspoon of water in a bowl until smooth (you can also use floral water, add yoghurt or honey). Apply to cleansed skin and leave it on for about 10 minutes.

The mask slightly hardens and tightens the skin. After 10 minutes, I rinsed with warm water. I was impressed with the results, my skin was so smooth and looked brighter. I look forward to the results over time.

This nail polish is fun to use for the holiday season and looks pretty too! You can use it alone and layer it to build up the glitter effect as required. I love that it’s quick drying and you can also try using it over your favourite nail polish for a glamorous effect.

Alima Pure Luminous Shimmer Blush Rosa (full-size, £20)

Pure, luscious and richly pigmented, Alima Pure Luminous Shimmer Blush provides natural luminosity while brightening your cheeks. Easy to use loose-powder. Shade Rosa is a cool, silver-flecked pink that flatters cool skin tones.

I wear blush occasionally, this one is pretty and works well with my skin tone. I like my blush to be subtle, a little goes a long way and it blends easily into my skin giving it a healthy glow.

John Masters Organics Lavender & Rosemary Shampoo (30ml, £5)

With a lush fragrance of lavender and rosemary, this foaming shampoo is excellent for all hair types, including colour treated hair. Deep cleanses the scalp and leaves your hair shiny and manageable. John Masters Organics Lavender and rosemary shampoo

I was pleased to see my favourite shampoo from John Masters. It cleanses my hair and scalp thoroughly without stripping it and leaving it tangled.

John Masters Organics Citrus & Neroli Detangler Conditioner 30ml

This is another favourite from John Masters Organics. Thankfully it’s not the new formula which annoyingly now contains silicones. This one works wells as a detangler ~ it literally melts away any tangles or knots in my hair and also doubles as a leave-in conditioner. I like that the consistency is very light and doesn’t weigh down my hair but leaves it soft, shiny and moisturised.

Absolution La Crème du Teint Foundation Light (15ml)

This foundation provides you a perfect, dewy finish with medium coverage. Tamanu oil is renowned for its healing properties and its regulatory power for reactive skins. It also protects from the sun while fighting against blemishes and scars by activating cellular repair. Green Tea fights against free radicals. The moisturizing effect is due to Aloe Vera, a true wonder of nature used since antiquity for its virtues. It contains not less than 80 nutrients: vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, mono and polysaccharides. Shade Light is suitable for light to light-medium skin tones. Suitable for all skin types.

This product is 99% natural and 48% organic.

I like the feel and consistency of this foundation but sadly it’s not suitable for my skin tone. I will be passing it on to a friend and hope she enjoys it.

Another new brand for me…the serum feels light on my skin and absorbs well without any greasy or sticky residue. I managed to get 2 uses out of the sample and enjoyed using it.

The texture of this cream is light and the scent is fresh and sweet. It absorbs well but for me it’s not hydrating enough for the winter. It would be a perfect moisturiser for the summer.
