Review – Optiat Coffee Scrub & Face Masks

I’m not a coffee drinker but I’ve been enjoying trying out products from Optiat.  They are a great brand and I love how they reuse ingredients we would normally trash.

To find out more about the brand, read my Q & A – Meet Optiat – the Nature-friendly Beauty Company

Squeeze out a dollop of Potent Peppermint and scrub into damp skin in circles. Rinse well and revive yourself for the day ahead!

Ok so I don’t drink so I’ve never been ‘hung-over’ and frankly I can’t remember the last time I had a night out!  However I love a refreshing tingly scrub in the shower as it stimulates the skin and senses…the perfect morning wake me up!

I love the delicious scent of coffee combined with refreshing peppermint.

It doesn’t feel harsh on the skin but gently buffs away dead skin cells, leaving my skin smooth, revived and glowing. It is also nourishing thanks to the blend of shea butter and almond oil, no need to moisturise afterwards as my skin is soft, silky and moisturised.

It can also be used on the face but I prefer to use the ‘Vanilla velvet’ as the Peppermint is a little too potent for my face.

Optiat 'Hit The Sheets' Vanilla Velvet Coffee Scrub

This scrub has such a lush scent…kinda like vanilla latte.  It’s supposed to help you relax and unwind after a long day, so I like to use it in the evening.

Now this one I like to use on my face and body and I love how my skin feels afterwards.  After cleansing my face, I apply to damp skin and leave on for 5 mins then I get in the shower.  I would advice rinsing off in the shower as it can get quite messy trying to rinse your face in the sink.

This scrub is so lovely and leaves my skin baby soft with a nice glow.  The packaging is great and handy to use in the shower unlike some coffee scrubs which come in a jar.

This mask did an incredible job at deep cleansing my skin and drawing out excess oil.  Using it twice a week, I found I had less congestion, fewer breakouts and blackheads.

My skin looks fresher, feels calmer and is a lot brighter and smoother.

These products are fantastic and I’ve noticed significant changes using them.
