I discovered Bourn Beautiful Naturals back in August, you can read my post Meet The Founder – Bourn Beautiful Naturals to find out more.
I love that the products are handmade in the UK and are affordable. I’ve been trying out some products sent to me by the founder Kadian.
Bourn Beautiful Naturals Coconut Cream Deep Conditioner (silicone-free) 50ml | £4.50
Packed with pure coconut milk, rich in vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6, this deep conditioner will nourish hair with the proteins from its rich fatty acid profile. Shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, maracuja oil and silk protein leave hair super soft and luxurious.
Weekly deep conditioning is a must for me. This deep conditioner is super nourishing. The consistency is nice and creamy and it has a lovely fruity scent. After shampooing, I apply to my hair concentrating on the ends, it has good slip so I can easily detangle. I cover with a shower cap and leave it on for at least 20 minutes or I sit under my steamer for 15 minutes.
After rinsing my hair feels strengthened and is super soft and moisturised.
Also available in 250ml & 500ml
Bourn Beautiful Naturals Leave Me Be Leave-In Conditioner (silicone-free) 250ml | £11
This lightweight conditioner locks moisture into just-cleansed tresses, smoothing the hair cuticle and acting as a protective foundation for styling products to follow. Glycerine-free, and silicone-free, it is a perfect foundation for styling gels or creams like Curl, Please! Curling Custard or Hair Too Balm
This leave-in conditioner is lightweight and has an incredible amount of slip. It glides on my hair and helps detangle and smooth my hair leaving it super soft and moisturised. The scent is also lovely and I love how it lingers in my hair.
Also available in 100ml & 500ml
Bourn Beautiful Naturals Curl, Please! Curling Custard 50ml | £4.50
A whipped curling custard that contains coconut milk, aloe vera, mango butter, hempseed oil, silk and goji berry extracts. Moisturises kinks and curls, setting them in place so they they pop and shine. Perfect for twist outs, braid outs or wash and gos. No crunch, no stickiness.
This curling custard smells so yummy, I love the tropical fruity scent. It has a creamy mousse like consistency which doesn’t feel heavy or greasy.
I apply a small amount to my hair after using the leave-in conditioner. The combo work well together to moisturise and help smooth my strands. My curls were soft and defined without feeling weighed down. It also helps tame frizz and smooth down my edges.
Also available in 200ml & 500ml
I have enjoyed using these products and look forward to trying out more.

Love your hair ! Being natural is a rewarding struggle I will say. So thanks for sharing. I just started WP and I blog about my life as a med student in NYC as well as general life tips for millennials so this was a treat to read.
Thank you. Indeed being natural is a rewarding struggle and I wouldn’t change it. I hope you enjoy your blogging journey 😊
