Review – Bourn Beautiful Naturals

I discovered Bourn Beautiful Naturals back in August, you can read my post Meet The Founder – Bourn Beautiful Naturals to find out more.

I love that the products are handmade in the UK and are affordable.  I’ve been trying out some products sent to me by the founder Kadian.

Packed with pure coconut milk, rich in vitamins C, E, B1, B3, B5 and B6, this deep conditioner will nourish hair with the proteins from its rich fatty acid profile. Shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, maracuja oil and silk protein leave hair super soft and luxurious.

Weekly deep conditioning is a must for me.  This deep conditioner is super nourishing.  The consistency is nice and creamy and it has a lovely fruity scent.  After shampooing, I apply to my hair concentrating on the ends, it has good slip so I can easily detangle.  I cover with a shower cap and leave it on for at least 20 minutes or I sit under my steamer for 15 minutes.

After rinsing my hair feels strengthened and is super soft and moisturised.

Also available in 250ml & 500ml

Glycerine-free, and silicone-free, it is a perfect foundation for styling gels or creams like Curl, Please! Curling Custard or Hair Too Balm

This curling custard smells so yummy, I love the tropical fruity scent.  It has a creamy mousse like consistency which doesn’t feel heavy or greasy.

I apply a small amount to my hair after using the leave-in conditioner.  The combo work well together to moisturise and help smooth my strands.  My curls were soft and defined without feeling weighed down.  It also helps tame frizz and smooth down my edges.
