First up…

Ayumi Intensive Hair Conditioning Treatment (150ml | £8.99)

This intensive nourishing hair treatment helps to replenish lost moisture and nurture tired hair. Renowned in Ayurveda, java grass is used to strengthen hair and rejuvenate the scalp, while quassia, sacred lotus and Indian lilac help to purify. Dry hair is revitalised with vitamins E, C and enriching coconut and avocado

Aqua,Cetearyl Alcohol,Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil,Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine,Aspartic Acid,Coco-Caprylate,Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil Nelumbium Speciosum (Sacred Lotus) Flower Extract,Melia Azadirachta (Indian Lilac) Leaf Extract,Cyperus Rotundus (Java Grass) Root Extract Quassia Amara (Quassia) Wood Extract,Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E),Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C),Glycerin (Vegetable Source),Parfum Phenoxyethanol,Chlorphenesin,Potassium Sorbate,Ethylhexylglycerin,Sodium Phytate, alcohol,Sodium Benzoate,Citric Acid,Amyl Cinnamal,Coumarin

My hair gets parched and is always in need of hydration so I deep condition my hair every week. I have my holy grail deep conditioners so I was keen to see how this one performed. The consistency is light and creamy and it has a nice coconut scent.

It is easy to apply and absorbs well into my strands. It has a good amount of slip and makes detangling easy. I typically like to sit under my steamer to give the treatment some oomph if I’m not pressed for time.

My hair literally drinks up this treatment. After rinsing my hair is soft, hydrated and looks shiny and healthy.

FOM London Anti-Pollution Hydra-Plump Serum Sample
30ml | £46

Water light, fragrance free serum works on 3 levels – to attract, bind and prevent moisture loss on skin whilst at the same time helping skin fight against pollution effects. Skin looks plumped, hydrated and fresh.

Aqua (distilled water). Rosa damascena (rose) water. Sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid). Glycerine (humectant). Sorbitol. Faex (yeast) extract. Hydrolyzed silk protein. Niacinamide (vitamin b3). Saccharide isomerate (moisture magnet). Camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract. Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary ) water ginkgo biloba leaf extract. Panax ginseng root extract. Rhodiola rosea root extract. Xanthan gum. Phenoxyethanol and caprylyl glycol. Lactic acid.

Hydra plump serum is for those who want to:
• restore and maintain skin hydration daily
• naturally strengthen skin resilience to pollution induced ageing
• hydrate skin before moisturising

I’m a fan of FOM London so I’m quite familiar with this serum. The consistency of this serum is very watery and it has a light rose scent as it contains natural rose essence.

My skin is dehydrated so this is a welcome addition to my routine before I apply my moisturiser. I dispense 2-3 drops into my palms and then gently press into my skin. Then I follow with my moisturiser. My skin feels balanced and stays hydrated all day.

NATorigin Lengthening Mascara Black (6g | £15.95)

High performance and hypo-allergenic mascara with a 98.5% naturally sourced formulation and specifically designed to strengthen and lengthen sensitive eyelashes.

I wear contact lens so I was keen to try out this mascara. The brush did a good job at lengthening and separating my lashes without any clumps. My bottom lashes are super tiny and it managed to define them nicely. I’m really happy with how well it performed.

NATorigin Pencil Eye Liner Black (£7.95)

Ultra-soft and lasting colour that glides on without pulling or dragging sore, sensitive eyelids. Anti-inflammatory and 100% natural with vitamin E, beeswax, organic raspberry seed oil and organic shea butter for a smooth and seamless application.  Formulated according to the principles of bio-inertia to reduce the risk of intolerance and can be recommended for even the most sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

This eyeliner is formulated for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearer which is great. I found it easy to apply, however it smudges and the colour fades after a few hours which is disappointing.

Madara Sun20 Weightless Sun Milk SPF20 Sample
150ml | £22.95

Light as air, this weightless sun protection milk delivers safe and effective, yet invisible and insensible broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection for body, hands and face, holding back sunburn, dark spots and photoageing.

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice Zinc Oxide Isoamyl Laurate Dicaprylyl Carbonate Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate Glycerin Cetyl Ricinoleate Sorbitan Sesquioleate Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil Unsaponifiables Aroma Sodium Chloride Cera Alba Glyceryl Caprylate Magnesium Stearate Sorbitan Caprylate Cellulose Rhus Verniciflua Peel Cera / Rhus Succedanea Fruit Cera Shorea Robusta Resin Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil Xanthan Gum Propanediol Benzoic Acid Aluminum Tristearate Potassium Hydroxide Aqua Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C) Sodium phytate Tocopherol Geraniol

I struggle with sunscreen formulas that work well for my skin tone without leaving that dreaded unattractive white cast behind. This one absorbed well with no white cast, however it felt heavy and slightly sticky on my skin which I didn’t like. Definitely not one for me!
