Massage Tips

Step 1
Blemish Active Charcoal Mask & Scrub

Use our Blemish Active Charcoal Scrub and Mask to gently care for skin deep down, lifting away impurities whilst helping to cool and calm irritated skin.

Ingredients:

Kaolin clay, activated charcoal, organic castor (ricinus communis) seed oil, organic grape seed (vitis vinifera) oil, organic coconut oil (cocos nucifera), cetearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, palm stearic acid, licorice root (glycyrrhiza glabra) extract, bentonite clay, salicylic acid, oatmeal (avena sativa) extract, organic green tea extract (camellia sinensis leaf), white willow bark (salix alba) extract, watermelon seed (citrullus lanatus) oil, witch hazel (hamamelis virginiana) extract, xanthan gum, lemon peel (citrus medica limonum) oil, tea tree leaf (melaleuca alternifolia) oil, lemongrass (cymbopogon schoenanthus ) oil, vitamin A (retinol palmitate), AHA fruit acids (lactic acid, glycolic acid, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid), inulin (from chicory root), alpha-glucan oligosacchairde (from sugar beet), phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, *Citral, Eugenol, Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool.

*Naturally Occurring in Essential oils.

I love a good mask and this one doubles as a scrub which is great.

Prep skin by gently removing all traces of makeup using your usual method.

Apply a generous layer of the mask to clean dry face and neck and leave for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the ingredients to infuse deep into the skins layers.

After 10 minutes I wet my palms with hot water and gently massage using my fingertips for 1 minute to slough away dead skin cells.

I wet the konjac sponge and use it to wipe away the mask.

The activated charcoal helps to draw out oil and dirt that clogs the pores and the AHAs gently dissolve dead skin cells.

The mask and scrub gives my skin a deep cleanse while gently exfoliating. It leaves my skin super soft, smooth and glowing.

Step 2
Blemish Control Charcoal Face Wash

Use our Blemish Control Charcoal Face Wash to remove traces of dirt and impurities to help calm and soothe redness and irritation caused by blemishes and acne. Can double as a cleanser or a face wash as best suits your needs.

Ingredients:

Aqua (water), olive oil (olea europaea), organic coconut oil (cocos nucifera), organic sunflower seed oil (helianthus annuus), sodium cocoamphoacetate, lauryl glucoside, sodium cocoyl glutamate, sodium lauryl glucose carboxylate, coco-glucoside, glyceryl oleate, cetearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, organic avocado oil (persea gratissima), palm free vegetable glycerin, black charcoal, licorice root (glycyrrhiza glabra) extract, bentonite clay, salicylic acid, oatmeal (avena sativa) extract, organic green tea extract (camellia sinensis leaf), white willow bark (salix alba) extract, watermelon seed (citrullus lanatus) oil, witch hazel (hamamelis virginiana) extract, xanthan gum, lemon peel (citrus medica limonum) oil, tea tree leaf (melaleuca alternifolia) oil, lemongrass (cymbopogon schoenanthus ) oil, vitamin A (retinol palmitate), AHA fruit acids (lactic acid, glycolic acid, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid), inulin (from chicory root), alpha-glucan oligosacchairde (from sugar beet), phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, *Citral, Eugenol, Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool.

*Naturally occuring in essential oils.

Whilst skin is still wet from step 1, apply a coin sized amount of wash to your face and gently massage into skin to lift away traces of dirt and bacteria and to remove any left over charcoal mask.

I incorporate some of the massage technique tips then proceed to take off the cleanser using the konjac sponge and warm water.

My skin feels deeply cleansed and balanced afterwards.

Step 3

Use our Blemish Control Mattifying Moisturiser to protect and nourish the skin after treatment.

The final stage in your blemish control facial is to ensure that your skin stays calm after treatment.

The consistency of this moisturiser is light and creamy. It feels nice and silky as it goes on and absorbs well into the skin. It dries to a matt finish and my skin feels soft and dewy.

I have enjoyed giving myself a pampering home facial with these products twice a week.  My skin is less prone to congestion and breakouts.

The Blemish control Facial is perfect for skin that is prone to breakouts, acne and black/white heads.

Do you enjoy a home facial?
